Jakarta, Nadlatul Ulama. Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) along with other Islamic organizations delivered a number of recommendations to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono in dealing with substance abuse, corruption and terrorism.
"In regard with the narcotics, we do expect the narcotics kingpins who had undertaken the legal process and received death penalty to immediately be executed in accordance with the court decision," Geeneral Chairman of NU KH Said Agil Siroj said here on Thursday.

Meanwhile, for the eradication of corruption, the organizations called on the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) not to be selective in dealing with any legal cases and urged the Anti-Corruption Court judges to give verdict that provides a deterrent for corruptors.Nadlatul Ulama
The organizations also urged the government to impoverish corruptors and making them poor will certainly provide a scary role model for those who wish to engage in corruption. This strategy of impoverishing the corruptors can be applied by the law enforcement agencies.In addition, the organizations also called on political parties and leaders of the House to fire members convicted of corruption.
"We call on the political parties and the House to dismiss members involved in corruption cases and the Anti-Corruption Court decisions to be capable of impoverishing corruptors," Kiai Said said.

While, related to the efforts in dealing acts of terrorism, the organizations asked the government to prevent all acts of terrorism."We also call on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Religious Affairs to review international foundations and we will assist if asked for input," he said.
In addition to NU, the organizations were, among others, Persis, al-Irshad al-Islamiyah, al-Ittihadiyah, Matlaul Anwar, al-Ar-Rabithah al-Alawiyah, al-Washliyah, Az-Zikra, Syarikat Islam Indonesia, Indonesian Chinese Muslim Association (PITI), IKADI, Perti, and Indonesian Council of Islamic Propagation (DDII).
While the President was accompanied by State Secretary Sudi Silalahi and Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam.
